Meet Sukil & Khushboo

Advertising photographers and Corporate filmmakers in Chennai, working across India

We are Sukil and Khushboo, a husband-and-wife team based in Chennai. Both of us studied Visual Communication, and we met at Light & Life Academy while training in professional photography. We then learned the craft on real shoots as assistants to Mr. Iqbal Mohamed, one of India's well-known photographers, before starting our own practice.

For 17 years, we have created photographs and films for brands of every scale, from established corporates to young companies finding their voice. Advertising photography is at the heart of our work, alongside product photography, jewellery photography and food photography. We also specialise in architecture and interior photography, industrial photography, corporate photography and corporate films. Much of this is made in our studio in Kilpauk, Chennai, a space that gives every project the calm and control it deserves.

Chennai is home, but our work has taken us across the country, and we are always glad to travel for the right project.

We believe a good image has a job to do. It might launch a product, fill a restaurant, sell a home or keep a family memory alive. So every project begins with one question: what do you need these visuals to do?

We are also faculties at the prestigious photography institute Light & Life Academy, Ooty.
